Bioarte: una nueva fórmula de expresión artística

Abstract

El Bioarte se ha configurado como una de las primeras vanguardias del siglo XXI, transformando los formatos y los conceptos de presentación, que hasta el momento se habían desarrollado, el material orgánico se convierte en la herramienta artística del bioartista, desde mariposas, plantas, genes, ADN hasta piel humana, laboratorios, bioreactores, tubos de ensayo; de los cuales se toma posesión y se crean obras, modificando procesos históricos y culturales

The Bioarte has been formed like one of the first vanguards of century XXI, transforming the formats and the concepts of presentation, that until the moment had been developed. The organic material becomes the artistic tool of the bioartista, from butterflies, plants, genes, DNA to human skin, laboratories, bioreactores, test tubes; from which possession is taken and works are created, modifying historical and cultural processes. It is possible to mention that the Bioarte as the photography, the video art, the sonorous art, net art, makes use of the technology of its time, and that way demonstrates the historical context, social and political of the humanity. Due to it, and to its great impact in the development of the artistic task, it has generated strong cuestionamientos in relation to his validity and feasibility, as well as disqualifications related to the ethics whereupon these projects are developed
