El Plan Puebla Panamá y las posibilidades para el desarrollo del estado de Chiapas

Abstract

El presente trabajo trata de explicar los alcances del Plan Puebla Panamá (PPP), uno de los programas de desarrollo regional más publicitados al inicio del sexenio del presidente Vicente Fox, que actualmente ha perdido fuerza dentro del discurso gubernamental debido a la oposición de algunos sectores de la sociedad y a la escasez de recursos para financiar la infraestructura planteada como necesaria para inscribir a la región como destino de inversión extranjera directa.

The present paper tries to explain the reaches of the Plan Puebla Panamá (PPP). One of the programs of development regional with more publicity to the begin of the sexenio of the president Vicente Fox, that in the actuality has lost strength inside the speech of the gobernment due to the opposition of some sectors of the society and to the absence of resources for to finance the infrastructure presented as necessary to incluide to the region as direct destiny of foreign investment.
