Pasado y presente de la investigación educativa

Abstract

La investigación educativa, entendida como disciplina, es un ámbito de conocimiento reciente. Cuyos orígenes se sitúan a fines del siglo XIX, cuando la pedagogía, semejanza de lo que anteriormente habían realizado disciplinas humanísticas como la sociología y la psicología, adoptó la metodología científica como instrumento fundamental para constituirse en una ciencia. Esta conversión científica no fue un mero producto del azar, sino el resultado de un largo proceso. Sin embargo, la expresión “investigación educativa” es bastante reciente, ya que por mucho tiempo se le denominaba como pedagogía experimental. Siendo la raíz del cambio terminológico y conceptual, razones de tipo sociocultural y a la preferencia de las aportaciones del mundo anglosajón en el ámbito educativo

The educative investigation, understood like discipline, is a scope of recent knowledge. Whose origins are placed by the end of century XIX, when the pedagogy, similarity than previously had realised humanistic disciplines like sociology and psychology, adopted the scientific methodology like instrument fundamental to constitute itself in a science. This scientific conversion was not a mere product of the chance, but the result of a long process. Nevertheless, the expression “educative investigation” is quite recent, since for a long time it was denominated to him like experimental pedagogy.
