Revisión de las corrientes teóricas sobre el medio ambiente y los recursos naturales

Abstract

El manejo de recursos naturales y su estado actual es producto e interacción de diversas concepciones teórico-conceptuales resultado de investigaciones y debates. La identificación, reconstrucción y uso analítico de estas corrientes han tenido caminos distintos, que resulta en lo que a veces parecen como contradicciones conceptuales. Es importante entender las relaciones y aportes de las distintas corrientes para explicar las bases de la situación que hoy presentan los recursos naturales y sus potencialidades para el futuro. En este artículo revisaremos las ideas fundamentales del pensamiento económico en los que radica la sobreexplotación de los recursos naturales, para ello iniciaremos con los clásicos, después con los neoclásicos, para posteriormente enfatizar los postulados de la economía ecológica, el enfoque conservacionista y terminar con los planteamientos del desarrollo sustentable

The handling of natural resources and their present state of art on the knowledge of such topic is product and interaction of diverse theoretical-conceptual conceptions that are result of investigations and debates. The identification, reconstruction and analytical use of these currents have had different ways, and sometimes they look like conceptual contradictions. It is important to understand the relations and contributions of the different currents so to explain the basis of the situation that nowadays the natural resources present as well as the potentialities for the future. In this article we will examine the fundamental ideas of the economic thought in on for the operation of the natural resources, for which we will start with the classic thinkers, later on with the neoclassic ones, in order to later on emphasize the postulates of the ecological economy, the conservationist approach and finally the expositions of the sustainable development
